Account security is a shared responsibility between us and you. On our end, 4cuci invests heavily in multi-layered security infrastructure. On your end, a few simple practices can significantly reduce the risk of your account falling into the wrong hands.
These are not tips meant to alarm you — they are the same common practices you already use for online banking. If you are comfortable with digital banking security, you already know half of what needs to be done.
Basic Account Security Guide
Your password is your first line of defense. Use a unique password for your 4cuci account — don't use the same password as your email, social media, or online banking accounts. If one account is compromised, your other accounts won't be affected. A strong password typically has a minimum of 10 characters combining uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
Next, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings. This is the most effective way to protect your account — in most account attack scenarios, 2FA alone is enough to stop unauthorised access attempts even if the attacker already has your password.
Watch out for "phishing" attempts — fake emails or messages impersonating 4cuci that ask you to enter your login details on a fake website. 4cuci will never ask for your password via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram. Always check the URL before logging in — make sure it is 4cuci.net and that there is a padlock icon in your browser's address bar.
If you log in from shared devices or public computers such as at internet cafes, make sure you log out completely when done and do not select "Remember me". Better yet, avoid logging in to your 4cuci account from any device you don't fully trust.
Security Tip: Use a password manager, such as the one built into your browser, to generate and store strong passwords. You don't need to memorize complex passwords — let the app handle that for you.
What to Do If You Suspect a Problem
If you notice any activity in your account that you do not recognize, immediate action is critical:
- Change your password immediately from a trusted device.
- Check the list of devices currently logged in and sign out from all devices.
- Contact 4cuci support via live chat — let them know when and where the suspicious access occurred.
- If there are any unauthorized transactions, our support team will initiate an investigation and apply a temporary account freeze if necessary.
The faster you respond, the better our chances of protecting the funds in your account. The 4cuci support team operates 24/7 and your account security is our top priority.
